Farms Lose Animals to Peste des Petits Ruminants in China
02 September 2015CHINA - Hundreds of sheep and goats have died after seven outbreaks of Peste des Petits Ruminants (also known as sheep and goat plague) in China.
There were 616 deaths from the disease across the seven farms, and the remaining 1422 animals were destroyed to prevent further spread.
The outbreaks occurred in Guizhou, Guangxi and Shanxi provinces.
